Nurturing Beauty
Luscious, local blooms to celebrate the everyday.
At Sweetbriar Flower Farm we believe that flowers are good for the soul. Science shows that flowers have a positive impact on mood and memory, can reduce stress and lower elevated blood pressure. Even without the scientific studies we know how flowers make us feel; peaceful, happy, hopeful and appreciated.
Whether it’s flowers for an event, special occasion, photo shoot or just because it’s Wednesday, our flowers are grown and designed to bring joy and make life even more beautiful.

Flower Care: Tips to Make Your Flowers Last
You want your flowers to last as long in the vase as possible, and so do we! Here are a few simple tips to get the longest life out of your bouquet.
Start with a very clean vase (clean enough for YOU to drink from). Run through the dishwasher or hand wash with hot soapy water and a drop of bleach. Bacteria kills flowers faster than anything else
Fill vase with fresh, cool water and flower food if supplied
Trim at least 1” off stem ends with clean sharp snips. Trim on an angle for best results. Re-cut every 1-2 days.
Slice woody stems in half up the stem. From bottom, slice 1”up stem
Remove all leaves that will fall below the water line
Replace water every 1-2 days
Remove spent flowers as they fade
Keep out of direct sunlight, sources of heat and away from fruit and veggies
Place outside in a protected spot overnight
Take a moment to enjoy them every day!
